Pleasure Tsa Manyalo Returns in Full Celebration Mode with New EP Ba Nyakalla

Limpopo’s beloved Manyalo trailblazer, Pleasure Tsa Manyalo, makes a triumphant return with her first release of 2026, the vibrant and joy-filled EP Ba Nyakalla—which translates from Sepedi to English as “They Are Happy.” Arriving on the heels of her successful album Pleasure in 20 Years, the project captures an artist firmly in her element—rooted in tradition, yet pulsing with renewed energy.

Anchored by its infectious title track, Ba Nyakalla, the EP leans into an up-tempo Dance groove shaped by the unmistakable rhythm of Sepedi Pop—popularly known as Manyalo. It’s a sound synonymous with celebration, and here, Pleasure channels it with effortless command, delivering music that feels tailor-made for weddings, family gatherings, and communal joy as the autumn season draws to a close.

Across three spirited tracks, Ba Nyakalla is a cultural expression of happiness, unity, and movement. Pleasure’s signature vocal warmth glides over lively instrumentation, creating an atmosphere that invites listeners to dance, reflect, and celebrate life’s milestones.

Her extensive catalogue includes beloved tracks such as Lefotwana, Laela, Ke Lorile, Ntshike Ka Diatla, Modimo Ke Sethakga, Sekgameetse, Kgalemela Lenyatšo, Malapa Ga A Lekane, Banyadi, Rakgadi Ya Ngwana, Mmušetše Gae, Mohweleretshipi, Moipone, Bogadi Bja Swikiri, Sadi O Tsamaiša Matepe, Mengwaga Ye Lesome, and Sebatana. Notably, her hit Ke Lorile secured second place in the 2022 Song of the Year rankings on Thobela FM, affirming her enduring resonance with audiences.

Pleasure Ramadimetja Peta, popularly known as Pleasure Tsa Manyalo, was born on March 1, 1980, in Tjiane, Ga-Mphahlele, Limpopo Province.

She obtained a National Diploma in Animal Production from Tompi Seleka College of Agriculture and later a B-Tech in Agricultural Management from the University of South Africa (UNISA). Professionally, she has served as a police constable under the South African Police Service and later worked within the Department of Rural Development and Land Reform.

Pleasure’s love for music was nurtured in her early years at Revelation Assembly Church, under the leadership of her grandfather, the late Bishop Nkotsane Charles Maja. She recorded her first project in February 2005, MaAndrews Vol. 1 (Sheba Nna), followed by her debut release under her own name, Pleasure Vol. 1: Mosadi wa Setagwa. Since then, she has built an enduring catalogue of music that continues to define and elevate the Manyalo genre.
