GHOST DA CATALYST & KHALIL HARRISON DELIVER COMFORT, CONNECTION AND SOUL ON NEW JOINT EP AUDIO HUG

South African Amapiano artists Ghost Da Catalyst and Khalil Harrison unveil their highly anticipated collaborative EP Audio Hug, a deeply emotive project built around comfort, connection, and the healing power of music.

Described by the duo as “a hug you can press replay on,” Audio Hug arrives as a soundtrack for life’s quieter moments. Across the project, soulful melodies, warm piano arrangements, gentle log drums, and heartfelt songwriting come together to create a body of work designed to accompany listeners through late nights, long drives, personal victories, and moments of reflection.

“Audio Hug is for the moments when you don’t have the words,” explain the artists. “It’s the sound of being held when you’re tired, celebrated when you’re winning, and understood when you’re quiet.”

Leading the release is the standout focus track, “C’est La Vie (Ntombenhle),” a powerful collaboration featuring Cooper SA, Ceeka RSA, Jay Sax and Tyler ICU. Built around lush instrumentation, soaring saxophone textures, and an infectious groove, the record captures the emotional core of the project while showcasing the chemistry between some of Amapiano’s most exciting creative voices. The result is a song that feels equally suited to dancefloors, road trips, and intimate listening sessions.

The EP follows the release of eTjwaleni, which offered fans their first glimpse into the sonic world of Audio Hug. Featuring Pale Moloi and LeeMcKrazy, the single quickly generated excitement among Amapiano audiences and set the tone for a project rooted in collaboration and emotional storytelling.

For Ghost Da Catalyst, Audio Hug marks another significant step in a rapidly ascending career. Following acclaimed releases such as Lenyatso and Intombi, he continues to establish himself as one of the genre’s most thoughtful and soulful producers, crafting records that balance emotional depth with dancefloor appeal.

For Khalil Harrison, the project builds on a remarkable run that has seen him emerge as one of Amapiano’s most exciting young voices. Since breaking through with viral hit Jealousy and earning recognition from global stars including Chris Brown, Harrison has become a sought-after collaborator whose songwriting and vocal presence continue to shape the sound of contemporary Amapiano.

Together, the pair have created a project that feels both personal and universal. Rather than chasing trends, Audio Hug leans into feeling. It is a reminder of music’s ability to comfort, connect and carry us through life’s many seasons.

With Audio Hug, Ghost Da Catalyst and Khalil Harrison deliver a collection of songs that do more than soundtrack a moment. They create a space for listeners to feel seen, understood and held.
