In a moment that proves South Africa’s future is bright and bold, Samsung South Africa has officially announced the Top 10 schools selected to move into the next phase of the 2025 Solve for Tomorrow STEM competition.
Solve for Tomorrow is more than just a competition, it’s an initiative that challenges Grade 10 and 11 learners from underserved communities to identify real-world problems and solve them using science, technology, engineering, and maths (STEM). These young innovators are creating real solutions to real challenges, from improving water access and renewable energy solutions to tackling safety and health issues in their communities.
Why this matters to your audience:
These learners aren’t just participating , they are leading. Their schools are becoming innovation hubs, their mentors are inspiring future engineers and scientists, and their ideas are already gaining recognition. This is a feel-good, proudly South African story with relevance at national and hyper-local levels.
This announcement also comes during International Youth Month (observed on 12 August), which further shines a spotlight on the power of young people to drive real change in their communities.
