Iqraam Rayners opened the scoring for the Tshwane giants in the 32nd minute with a good header following a cross from Teboho Mokoena.

The home side looked more threatening in the second half, with Tashreeq Matthews coming close from a Marcelo Allende corner before extending the lead with a neat finish in the 56th minute.

The visitors were then handed a lifeline in the 63rd minute when Aubrey Modiba handled in the box, Puleng Marema missed the resultant penalty.
