Karabo Masemola, alongside Alex FM and The Share Button Initiative, will launch the
Warm Hearts, Warm Homes: Alexandra Winter Relief Drive 2026 on 29 May 2026 at
Siyabonga Orphanage Home in Alexandra Township.
The long-term winter relief campaign will continue through multiple community activations,
including an outreach at Refilwe Legae Home on 26 June 2026, before concluding with a
major Mandela Day Festival on 17 July 2026.
Under the theme “Ubuntu in Action: Extending Care Beyond Celebration,” the initiative aims
to provide winter support, food and hygiene assistance, youth encouragement, and
community upliftment for vulnerable children and families within Alexandra Township.
The campaign is proudly supported by Dunwell Youth Priority Clinic, Unblemished Beauty
Academy, and Whitney Jasmin, a clinical audiologist focused on hearing healthcare and
wellness advocacy, alongside additional community partners and stakeholders committed to
meaningful social impact.
The initiative also creates opportunities for organisations and brands to contribute towards
community development while gaining visibility through activations, media coverage, and
public engagement opportunities.
Community members, organisations, and brands are encouraged to partner with the
campaign through donations, activations, and support initiatives.
