Jub Jub Arrested & Faces Kidnapping and Firearm Charges Following Edenvale Incident Involving Girlfriend that he saying he involve his girlfriend
South African rapper and television personality Molemo “Jub Jub”
Maarohanye has been taken into custody and is expected to appear before the Germiston Magistrate’s Court tomorrow.
According to police, Maarohanye is facing charges of kidnapping, defeating the ends of justice, and discharging a firearm in a public place.
National police spokesperson Brigadier Athlenda Mathe said the charges arise from an alleged confrontation involving an e-hailing driver in Edenvale. During the incident, Maarohanye allegedly fired a gun in the direction of the driver. It is believed that he accused the driver of being involved with his girlfriend.
Authorities confirmed that the well-known entertainer was arrested following the incident and remains the subject of an ongoing investigation.
