JAY BADZA HAS DIED AT AGE OF 38

SOUTH Africa-based Zimbabwean entrepreneur and, founder of the PR and marketing agency Orchard On 25, Jay Badza has died.

The businessman died at the agebof 38.

Last year, he was eyeing a chunk of the African market after launching branches in Harare and Nairobi.

Badza, was running Orchard On 25, the leading South African creative agency known for bringing to life the marketing visions of global giants like Johnnie Walker, Glencore and Kellogg’s.

He founded his firm in Johannesburg in 2017.

In a statement his agency confirmed.

“It is with deep sadness that we share the devastating news of the passing of Orchard on 25 Founder and Head Honcho, Jay Badza.

“A true visionary and passionate leader in the Public Relations and Marketing industry – affectionately known to many as Mr. Jay – he poured his heart into elevating young creatives.

“He wasn’t just a mentor but a guiding light who nurtured countless individuals and ignited their potential.

“His unwavering commitment to innovation and the relentless pursuit of excellence not only transformed the industry, it transformed lives.”

Jay’s extraordinary vision brought Orchard on 25 to life in July 2017, and this same vision led the agency through remarkable growth ultimately becoming the leading creative agency it is today.
