Zikhona Sodlaka’s journey into the entertainment industry began with modeling and appearances in television commercials.

Her breakthrough, however, arrived when she secured a minor role in the television series “Generations.”

Despite initial successes, her heart remained set on acting. She embarked on an unwavering pursuit of her dream, attending numerous auditions in her quest to break into television dramas.

In a pivotal turn of events, Zikhona Sodlaka’s agent presented her as a potential fit for the lead character, Zukiswa, in the fourth and final season of “Tsha Tsha.”

This opportunity marked her entry into prominent roles within the television industry.

Her captivating appearance and dance expertise, particularly in Latin dance, caught the attention of the show’s producers, including Lumko Dukashe.

Zikhona Sodlaka’s career soared from 2007 to 2010, as she portrayed Ayanda Tau in the e.tv soccer drama “Shooting Stars.”

Zikhona Sodlaka’s career showcased her adaptability, evident in her guest role in the SABC1 drama series “Intersexions” and her starring role in the thought-provoking drama series “After 9.”

She succeeded Khanyi Mbau in portraying the character Zee in the show’s second season. In 2015, she embraced the role of host for “Top Actor SA,” an original series that debuted on the BET channel.
