– Ndlala Arena is set to deliver another world-class musical experience as Ndlala Grandeur II returns on 21 and 22 August 2026, bringing together some of the biggest names in international and South African R&B in celebration of Women’s Month.
Following the success of its inaugural edition, Ndlala Grandeur II promises two unforgettable evenings where timeless music, luxury, and exceptional live entertainment come together under one roof.
The celebrations begin on Friday, 21 August, with an intimate evening headlined by RL (Robert Lavelle Huggar), the acclaimed American singer, songwriter, producer and unmistakable lead vocalist of the multi-platinum selling R&B group NEXT. Renowned for chart-topping classics including Too Close, Wifey, Butta Love and I Still Love You, RL has enjoyed a career spanning more than three decades. Beyond NEXT, he has collaborated with music icons including Deborah Cox, Ginuwine, Tyrese, Snoop Dogg and 2Pac, while writing songs for artists such as Luther Vandross, Usher, Jaheim and Jamie Foxx.
Joining RL on Friday evening is Grammy Award-winning R&B superstar Mýa. One of the defining female voices of contemporary R&B, Mýa rose to global prominence with timeless hits including Case of the Ex, It’s All About Me, My Love Is Like… Wo and Free. Her Grammy-winning collaboration on Lady Marmalade cemented her place among the genre’s elite, while a career spanning more than 25 years has established her as an internationally respected singer, songwriter, actress and performer.
Representing South Africa is multi-platinum Afro-soul icon Zonke Dikana, one of the country’s most celebrated singer-songwriters and record producers. Renowned for her soulful vocals and exceptional songwriting, Zonke has received numerous accolades throughout her career, including multiple South African Music Awards (SAMAs) and an MTV Africa Music Award, cementing her place as one of South Africa’s most accomplished contemporary artists. With a catalogue of timeless hits and a reputation for captivating live performances, Zonke continues to be one of the nation’s most respected musical talents.
The excitement continues on Saturday, 22 August, when Grammy-nominated R&B superstar Ginuwine takes centre stage. Born Elgin Baylor Lumpkin, Ginuwine became one of contemporary R&B’s defining voices through his groundbreaking work with legendary producer Timbaland. His catalogue includes global classics such as Pony, Differences, So Anxious, In Those Jeans and Same Ol’ G. With a career spanning more than three decades, multiple platinum-selling albums, and his role as a member of the acclaimed supergroup TGT alongside Tank and Tyrese, Ginuwine remains one of the most influential performers in modern R&B.
