
The Western Cape officially kicked off the 23rd edition of the Engen Knockout Challenge, with regional qualifiers concluding on Saturday, 03 May. The province was the first to set the stage for what promises to be another exciting year of unearthing South Africa’s brightest young football talent.
The boys’ qualifiers got underway on 6 April, followed by the girls on 13 April, with both divisions wrapping up in an action-packed final day on Saturday, 03 May. Over the course of the qualifiers, teams delivered an impressive showcase of skill, flair, and determination a true reflection that this was their moment to shine, their moment as future diski legends.
More than just a tournament, the Engen Knockout Challenge continues to be a platform where young footballers seize their opportunity, inspire communities, and carry forward the heartbeat of South African football.
With the qualifiers now concluded, all eyes are on the official media draw, which will take place on Monday, 26 May. This exciting event will determine the matchups for the next phase of the competition, as the journey toward the championship continues.
