Telkom VS Gaming, Africa’s largest esports competition platform, is proud to announce its participation in the fourth edition of Comic Con Cape Town, taking place from 30 April to 03 May 2026 at the Cape Town International Convention Centre (CTICC).
As Africa’s leading driver of competitive gaming and youth esports development, Telkom VS Gaming will once again bring high-energy action and immersive fan engagement to Africa’s most anticipated gaming festival.
At the heart of the activation will be the live national finals of the Telkom VS Gaming eDiski tournament and the High School Esports League (HSEL), where South Africa’s emerging semi-professional players and top school competitors will battle it out in a dynamic, fan-facing championship experience.
Adding to the excitement this year, the winner of the Telkom VS Gaming eDiski national title will earn the opportunity to face off against some of the world’s leading eDiski champions in a special international showcase match. This global incentive raises the stakes of the competition and highlights Telkom VS Gaming’s continued commitment to giving African players exposure on the international esports stage.
Aasim Lamara currently holds the Telkom VS Gaming eDiski title and will be looking to defend his title against a strong field of contenders from across the country competing for honours over the four-day event in the Mother City.
