SOUTH AFRICANS REMEMBER CONNIE CHIUME

The family reveals that the memorial service of the Black Panther actress Connie Chiume will be held on Tuesday, 13 August at Oasis of Life Family Church in Daveyton at 12pm.

Her funeral service will begin at 8am on Thursday, 15 August at the same venue.

The family of the actress confirmed she passed away on Tuesday, 6 August after a period of

“Mam Connie passed away on 6 August 2024 at Garden City Hospital after a period of illness”, says the family.

“Her children would like to express their deep appreciation to the doctors and nursing staff who provided exceptional care during her stay.”

Chiume is known for her TV roles on Rhythm CityZone 14Soul CityMazinyo Dot Q and Gomora

South Africans are paying tribute to the 72-year-old actress on social media.
