RICHARDS BAY PLAYED GOALLESS

Mamelodi Sundowns are on the road this weekend to face Richards Bay for the league return fixture on Sunday afternoon at a sold-out eMhlathuze Sports Complex.

Masandawana come from the back of a draw in their backyard where Stellenbosch FC held them to a 1-1 stalemate. Reflecting on that match, forward, Arthur Sales, stated that it wasn’t a favourable result but they are looking to turn things around in Durban, as he also previewed the game.

“Of course a draw was not the result we wanted but it has pushed us to ensure that we do better in the remaining games of the season,” he said.

“It’s going to be a tough game, especially because we will be playing in their home ground. We have the responsibility to give something to our supporters in a form of a win. We will give it our all and make sure that we finish strong.”

Sales concluded by appreciating the supporters for the constant support and promised to make them proud in KwaZulu-Natal. He said: “we would like to thank the Yellow Nation for their constant support. Of course, it’s nice to play in a full stadium. This is also a sign that our supporters believe in us and for that we will need to give our all in this game.”

Mamelodi Sundowns will do clash against Richards Bay on Sunday afternoon at the uMhlathuze Sports Complex. Kick-off has been scheduled for 17H30, live on SuperSport TV.
