PEP mini Netball Festival

PEP continued its investment in empowering young girls through sport with a PEP mini Netball Festival held at Arbor Park Primary in Newcastle on 15 August, bringing young players together for a day of netball, learning and fun.

The PEP mascots were also there to add to the excitement, interacting with the young players as they took part in interactive activities and friendly matches. The festival provided an opportunity for the players to develop their skills, build confidence and enjoy the game alongside their peers.

As Women’s Month continues, the festival highlighted the importance of creating opportunities for young girls to grow through sport, helping them develop confidence, teamwork and leadership from an early age.

As part of the nationwide PEP mini Netball programme, the festivals continue to strengthen grassroots netball and create opportunities for the next generation of young girls to aim high.
