With learners back for the third school term, the PEP mini Netball Festivals returned this past weekend, kicking off in the Kimberely on 25 July at Laerskool Eureka.
Young players from participating schools in the Northern Cape came together for a fun-filled day of netball, taking part in interactive activities and friendly matches from 08h00 to 13h00. The festival provided a supportive environment for players to develop their skills, build confidence and enjoy the game alongside their peers.
As part of the nationwide PEP mini Netball programme, these festivals continue to create meaningful opportunities for young girls to participate in sport, nurture a love for netball and strengthen grassroots development across South Africa.
