While We Wait 2 follows the success of Kehlani’s critically acclaimed fourth studio album, CRASH. Praised by Pitchfork as “exhilarating…a grab bag of genres that reflect the dizzying ups and downs of desire and self-examination,” the album includes such hits as “Next 2 U“ and “After Hours,” the latter highlighted among Rolling Stone’s “Best Songs of 2024 So Far” after amassing 4.6 million streams in the US in its first week, achieving the strongest debut of Kehlani’s career.
Kehlani – who recently made an unforgettable appearance on NPR’s Tiny Desk Concert Series with a captivating performance of old favorites and new hits streaming HERE – will keep the party going on her upcoming CRASH WORLD TOUR. Produced by Live Nation, the trek’s 31-city North American run kicks off September 4 at The Armory in Minneapolis, MN and then travels the continent through early November. Highlights include stops at such famed venues as Chicago, IL’s Byline Bank Aragon Ballroom (September 6), Brooklyn, NY’s Barclays Center (September 20), Los Angeles, CA’s Kia Forum (October 30), and San Francisco, CA’s Chase Center (November 2).
