Harriet Manamela Biography

She debuted in the series premiere on 13 October 2011 and appeared in the 2006 mini-series When We Were Black.

Harriet Manamela matriculated from St. AnthAnthony’s in Boksburg. Her dream was to be an actress from childhood, so she decided to pursue her dream.

She joined Squints Artists Community Theatre Group in Alexandra, and her debut performance was in The Virus and Let’s Talk About Aids at The Market Theatre Laboratory Annual Festival.

She completed Broken Dreams with The Market Theatre Laboratory drama school and additionally featured in Theatre Sports for SABC3, toured Sweden with Gommorah, Koze Kuse Bash, Ways of Dying, Bozoli at The Market Theatre and The Grahamstown Arts Festival.

She also completed the Young Writers Festival at The Market Theatre for 2 years.

Harriet Manamela‘s tv career commenced in 1998 with Soul City, Isidingo, Yizo Yizo II, Justice For All II & III, Zero Tolerance, Soul Buddyz and Behind The Badge.

Harriet Manamela scooped a SAFTA for Best Supporting Actress in 2012 for her feature within the film Life Above All and changed into as soon as nominated inside the Vita award for Best Supporting Actress for her position within the cleaning soap Isidingo.
