After more than a decade helping shape the music industry behind the scenes, Johannesburg-born artist and creative executive Garth Brown steps fully into his own story with “Find Me” — a deeply personal Afro House record about exhaustion, restoration and finding your way back to yourself.
Lifted from his debut project Let There Be Light, the single blends Gospel-rooted songwriting with soulful Afro House production, creating a record that feels equally suited for reflection and release.
Produced by S-Jam, “Find Me” emerged during a difficult season in Brown’s life and career — one marked by uncertainty, disappointment and emotional burnout. What began as a deeply personal record has since become the standout release from the project, reaching #1 on the 5FM charts and resonating with listeners drawn to its honesty and emotional weight.
“Find Me was born from a season where I felt spiritually and emotionally lost,” Brown explains. “It’s about those moments where you’ve poured yourself into the wrong places and slowly lose connection with yourself. But it’s also about grace. About being found again.”
Before launching his own artist journey, Brown spent years working across A&R, marketing and creative strategy, contributing to campaigns and projects that shaped both African and global music culture. But with Let There Be Light, he shifts away from industry mechanics and toward something far more personal: music rooted in healing, spirituality and human experience.
Rather than chasing trends, Brown is building a sound centred on emotional honesty — blending rhythm, faith and storytelling into records designed to move people both physically and spiritually.
