Former Kaizer Chiefs goalkeeper Itumeleng Khune has been unveiled as one of the new in-studio analysts for SABC Sport.

The ninth annual Alex Music Festival themed All White recently took place at Kwa Bhekilanga Stadium in Alexandra. Attended by over 8,000 people from all walks of life, the festival saw a line-up of over 60 artists.

Supported by TMM who sponsored the production of the show and stage, this week, after a successful celebration of its ninth year running, the festival plans to donate half of its proceeds to various charity organisations, towards food parcels, and school uniforms.

“We are passionate about giving back to those who continue to support us. This is our token of appreciation to say a hand that gives is one that receives,” said organizer Bheki Mahlangu.Khune, who is yet to announce his retirement from football, had his contract with Amakhosi not renewed for the 2024/25 season.

The former Bafana Bafana captain has already started his new gig.

He was part of the pundits for the Caf Champions League clash between Eswatini’s Mbabane Swallows and Mamelodi Sundowns on Saturday.

Before handing a one-year deal for last season, Chiefs made it clear that it would be his final contract as part of their squad and Khune would be moved into a non-playing role within the club setup.
