EasyPay Everywhere, which provides financial services to millions of everyday South Africans, is officially changing its name to Lesaka EasyPay. This is part of the full scale rebrand happening across the Lesaka group of companies, where EasyPay is part of Lesaka.
The brand change is taking place over a few months and came to life from May 2026. EasyPay Everywhere customers will start to see the new Lesaka EasyPay name and the vibrant lime Lesaka colours out in branches, on digital channels and in community spaces across the country.
New Lesaka look, same trusted EasyPay products and service
While the name is changing to Lesaka EasyPay and branches and staff are getting a fresh new look, customers can rest assured that their services will remain exactly the same.
Your grant will still be paid into your same EasyPay account, you can still use your EasyPay card the same way, you can still apply for a loan, and if you use EasyPay to pay your bills online, you will still be able to do that in the same way and on the same digital platforms as before.
There’s nothing that customers should do or worry about – it’s the same EasyPay, just with a fresh new Lesaka name and look.

“We know that when things change, our customers could worry,” said Simphiwe Phakathi, Executive Head at EasyPay Everywhere, “but we want to be very clear that this brand change is not anything you need to worry about. Our Lesaka EasyPay rebrand is an exciting part of our journey as Lesaka, to meet our customers where they are. We’re excited to be bringing the unified Lesaka brand and fresh new look out to our customers and communities.
We want our customers to know – your money is safe, your grant payments will come, your EasyPay cards and loans and insurance cover, all work exactly the same way they always have – all that’s happening is that EasyPay is getting a fresh new look as part of Lesaka.”
Why the brand change?
EasyPay is part of the Lesaka Group, a growing South African fintech business that offers many different financial products and services to millions of people – from large merchants, small shop owners to everyday customers and grant recipients.
Lesaka’s brand embodies connection, movement, and progress. Inspired by a footprint, it symbolises presence, partnership, and purpose – a visual expression of who and what EasyPay works to do as a business: Human > Grounded > African > Agile.
“As part of the Lesaka Group, EasyPay Everywhere currently serves over 2 million cardholders through more than 240 branches across South Africa,” Phakathi says. “By bringing everything under one Lesaka name, we’ll be able to offer our customers even more value – from additional services and better support to more ways to help you manage your money. This change is all about growing so that we can do even more for our valued customers over time.”
We are still here, Where You Are
EasyPay customers can also rest assured that their favourite EasyPay branch is not going anywhere, and all the contact numbers and digital touchpoints they use are staying the same. “While the new Lesaka name and look will start appearing across branches and on our new cards from July, this change will happen over a few months,” Phakathi explains, “so you’ll still see our old EasyPay Everywhere brand around for a while and then you’ll start visiting us at our fresh new Lesaka branches. We are taking this journey step by step, and keeping our customers in the loop and informed along the way.”
In the meantime, Phakathi points out that there is nothing that EasyPay customers need to do differently. “Keep using your EasyPay card, your account and your branch as you always have; and feel free to ask at your nearest branch or reach out to us on our social media pages if you have any questions,” he says.
