Breakout star, Booshle G, is closing the year with one more offering off his upcoming debut album, I Was Never Alone, set for release on 13 February 2026. Heavy is the next single, forming part of what has been a breakout year for the South African singer-songwriter. Fresh off UK and European dates with Neon Dreams, he’s already gearing up for his next European tour, this time supporting Billy Raffoul, and was recently announced as headliner for Splashy Fen and part of the KDay line-up for his debut appearance next year. With 2025 as the springboard for what’s to come next, Booshle G is carving a global path entirely his own.
Raw, emotional, and deeply human, Heavy captures the moment life feels like too much, and the quiet fight to keep going anyway. “This is a song I wrote in the middle of feeling completely weighed down, tired, frustrated, and questioning why life has to hurt so much,” Booshle shares. “It’s my cry from that place, but also my reminder that the fire inside me is still burning. Even in the pain, there’s a way forward.”
