Betway, proud sponsors of the Betway Premiership, is pleased to congratulate the winners of the eight Betway Premiership categories of the PSL Awards that were officially announced on Tuesday evening.
As the title sponsor of South Africa’s premier football league, Betway is honoured to recognise and celebrate the exceptional talent and commitment that defined the inaugural season of the Betway Premiership, which heralded a new era in South African football.
Leading the celebrations are Mamelodi Sundowns FC, who were crowned Betway Premiership Champions in their inaugural season. Not only were they the first to be crowned champions of the Betway Premiership, but the Tshwane giants also became the first recipients of the newly designed Betway Premiership trophy, a lifetime trophy of the Premiership.
Betway also extends its congratulations to the individual award winners announced on the evening, whose performances have set them apart in a highly competitive season.
Each of the winners has demonstrated excellence in their respective positions and contributed significantly to the excitement and quality of the inaugural season of the Betway Premiership.

The Betway Premiership 2025/26 season officially gets underway on Saturday, 09 August with exciting fan engagement activities that will build onto the highly successful inaugural season of the Betway Premiership.
