The race for the prestigious Basadi in Music Awards has officially begun! Now in its fourth year, this groundbreaking event continues to celebrate and empower the Queens of the music industry.
Exciting new categories have been introduced for the 2025 edition, expanding the platform to recognise even more talented women across various musical and entertainment sectors. This year, we shine a spotlight on a broader range of creative professionals with categories such as Manager of the Year, Makeup Artist of the Year, Podcast Presenter of the Year, and Choreographer of the Year, among others.
Nominations open from 12 May 2025 to midnight on 30 May 2025, providing fans and industry professionals the chance to honor their favorites. To nominate your fav, simply visit www.basadiinmusicawards.co.za and explore the category list. Nominations can be submitted using the following methods:
- SMS – Send the category name along with your nominee’s name to 36391. Unlimited nominations are allowed.
- Online – Visit www.basadiinmusicawards.co.za/nominate2025, select a category, and complete the nomination with a credit card payment. There are no limits to the number of nominations.
Each nomination costs R1.50 per submission, while online nominations require a minimum of 10 votes (terms and conditions apply).
