“RESCUER” is a tribute to his wife Kouvr Annon. Warren shares, “when I was at my absolute lowest, my now-wife Kouvr saved me. Nothing I have or have done is possible without her. This song is written to her as a way of expressing that.”
“RESCUER” official music video premiered last night at a special iHeart x TikTok livestream single release event in Los Angeles and comes just weeks ahead of his highly anticipated sophomore album WILDCHILD dropping on August 28 via Atlantic Records. Pre-add/save HERE.
Further showcasing Warren’s songwriting and rich, soulful vocals which have captivated audiences around the world since he first entered the scene in 2021, WILDCHILD spotlights both joyful and equally heart wrenching themes which are both deeply personal to him and universally relatable to listeners. The album explores loss, grief and the journey that follows as he navigates his new life while treasuring the gifts imparted to him.
“Growing up, my dad used to call me Wildchild so it’s always had a special meaning and I even have it tattooed on me,” says Warren. “Creating this album was really healing, therapeutic and a way for me to continue finding out more about myself. This album really shows where I am in my life today and compared to my first album which feels like a man who is broken, this one is a man who’s trying to heal. It’s been really nice to be able to confront those feelings and also be able to share them with the world to give everyone a transparent view into my life.”
