“Melusi Wami (My Shepard) is a quote from the bible Psalms 23. There was a point in my life where I thought  I’d reached a dead end, but God spoke to me through this book assuring me that He is my shepherd, I must really on Him without any doubt. So from that day, I made a vow that I’ll never leave Him as the song says,” Anathi Zibeke says.

Born in Mtalala township in Port St Johns,  and coming from a big family, he found comfort in the church and began his Gospel journey in 2006. After completing high school, he went to study medicine at Walter Sisulu  University in Mthatha and is a qualified doctor. Music got him through university and every other obstacle he faced. His music music reflects a journey of faith, resilience, and divine calling.

“I started singing at church. I then became a music director for many groups. As I grew in music and performed with various artists, until I found my voice when I met Mlungisi Ngobese two years ago who became my executive producer then and there was no turning back.”
