Warner Music Africa and Africori Celebrate Major Accolades, Securing 18 Nominations at the 2024 Metro FM Music Awards

Johannesburg: Warner Music Africa and Africori are thrilled to announce a remarkable achievement with an astounding 18 nominations at the highly anticipated 2024 Metro FM Music Awards. An incredible feat for the label, which has continuously demonstrated its commitment to championing diverse talents in South Africa and across the continent. 

The nomination announcement event was held on Wednesday, 27 March in Fourways at The Campus Forum. The black-tie extravaganza was hosted by DJ Sabby and Khutso Theledi. Africori, received an incredible 14 nominations with Kamo Mphela receiving four nods in various categories for her hit single “Dalie feat. Baby S.O.N Tyler ICU & Khalil Harrison”. Inkabi Zezwe, who released their culture-defining body of work “Ukhamba” equally received four nominations including Best Collaboration. Newcomers TitoM & Yuppe also received recognition for their viral hit “Tshwala Bam feat. S.N.E and EeQue” as well as Best duo/group nomination. Tshwala bam wrapped up a month since release with over 28 million streams to date.
