Izingane Zoma are always dynamic and socially conscious in their music. This release is set to be a powerful anthem that sheds light on the discomfort and challenges faced by women due to the harassment, invasion of privacy by society and promotes socially acceptable behaviour in society. Titled ‘Umfazi Womuntu Enqunu” the track is a compelling commentary on the need for awareness and change and it is delivered in the classic Zulu traditional call-and-response style.

In July 2014, Izingane Zoma mesmerised and thrilled audiences with their upbeat Maskani Music and two cities in the marvelous traditional dance moves in the United State, namely Altanta and Santa Fe, New Mexico.

The group hails from Kwa-Zulu-Natal, one of the provinces that are richly blessed 

with talented musicians in South Africa. Since the group came into the music scene, 

it has impressively stood its ground in the male monopolised maskandi genre and 

made a huge impression locally and internationally. Without a doubt Izingane Zoma is one of the best-selling female groups in Mzansi and its mission to prove that women can do well in this genre has been achieved.
