The Pav Kids Board – Nurturing our Future today

In a post-covid world we see an influx of brands trying to frantically reclaim a connection with their respective target markets – but the answer is simpler than one might expect. The Pavilion Shopping Centre have opted to go back to basics by just saying “Thank You” to their shoppers by affording them an innovative experience – one that their children are able to benefit from.

The Pav Kids Board affords children between the ages of 8 and 13 the opportunity to be a part of an active board that will be involved in monthly activities and decision making around the brand. These activities will empower the children and expose them to the corporate world, thus influencing them on a more intrinsic and sustainable level. The monthly activities planned will range from clean up drives, environmental programmes, as well as interacting with key stakeholders that most children will never have the opportunity of meeting.

“We want to reconnect with our shoppers in a memorable way,” said Marketing Manager, Julie-Anne Zuma. “We want to remind them that we are more than just a Shopping Centre and that we are a community bonded by trusted brands and a nostalgia that will lead to what we see as lifelong and heritage relationships.”

In addition, Vicky Deppe, The Pavilion General Manager stated that The Pav Kids Board seeks to reposition the predictable way in which Shopping Centre’s have been perceived. “Through The Pav Kids Board, we as a Shopping Centre will be forging new in-roads into arenas that will also serve to future proof the relevance of a brand like ours as well as establish new partnerships that will amplify our future intentions.”

The call to entry will go live on our social media platforms this week and the final board announcement will be made on the 27 April 2023. Stay close for regular updates on this exciting campaign. “We are actively nurturing our future today” concluded an excited and optimistic Julie-Anne Zuma.
