The highly anticipated White Star Miss Soweto 2023 pageant is set to captivate audiences on 25 November at the esteemed Soweto Theatre in Jabulani, Soweto. Headline sponsor, White Star Super Maize Meal, has always emphasised the fact that Miss Soweto is not only about recognising both the inner and outer beauty but, as importantly, about offering a platform to uplift young women and provide them with an opportunity to develop to their full potential.
Audiences to this esteemed event can look forward to mesmerizing performances by Kamo Mphela and Bucy Radebe.
The entire community is invited to participate in the pageant by casting their votes for the People’s Choice Award. Voting commenced on 19 October 2023 and will conclude just before the pageant
For over 40 years, the pageant has crowned Soweto’s immensely talented beauties and propelled them into national and international stardom: as business women, media personalities and ambassadors that break barriers and fly the South African flag high across the globe.
