On Friday, 24 November 2023, the Gauteng Provincial Legislature (GPL) – championed by the Speaker of the Legislature together with GPL’s Presiding Officers, the Portfolio Committee on Community Safety in partnership with the Bertha Gxowa Foundation and Change Bible will launch this year’s 16 Days of Activism campaign for No Violence Against Women and Children at the Change Bible Church in Katlehong, Ekurhuleni, from 10:30am.
Under the theme; It begins with me; end gender-based violence for a peaceful Gauteng”. This year’s GPL activities during the 16 Days of Activism continues to observe some of the most important and current reoccurring social issues in our communities with the participation from different gender and age representations of society, including the crime prevention and security cluster. The emphasis is on moral regeneration solutions tha
