Business developer Nompumelelo Nyawo advocates for digital inclusion

Post Covid 19, Nompumelelo Nyawo together with Sigma SA successfully launched careers of over 5000 inexperienced jobseekers in gauteng and western cape by giving them paid training and permanent jobs in the BPO sector. 

As a business developer Nompumelo then launched her own company Atomic Group to create digital inclusion and ensure equitable access for use of information and communication technologies for participation in the workforce and make it possible up and coming entrepreneurs to compete in the competitive market by accessing affordable broadband internet services in rural communities and previously disadvantaged areas. 

To create Employment opportunities where entrepreneurs can also employ more people. 

To create access to digital literacy training and Quality technical knowledge.  

To create access to applications and online content designed to enable and encourage self-sufficiency, participation and collaboration in order for unemployed youth to access this information and create employment for themselves. 

“Atomic Group has designed programmes to help develop KZN province and expand to other small towns and rural communities across Southern Africa. Digital Inclusion must evolve as technology advances. Digital Inclusion requires intentional strategies and investments to reduce and eliminate historical, institutional and structural barriers to access and use technology.” Says Nompumelelo.
