fibertime™ celebrates the impact of its partnership with the 2026 Mamelodi Youth Games, where the live streaming of 14 tournament matches on football.fibertime.com brought grassroots football to a wider audience and helped create opportunities for young players to be recognised beyond the pitch.

While Amaberete FC were crowned champions following an exciting tournament that showcased the passion, talent and future of South African kasi football, the tournament has already delivered lasting opportunities for players looking to take the next step in their football journeys.

Through its partnership with the tournament, fibertime™ created a streaming platform for young footballers to showcase their talent to fans, families, scouts and the wider football community.

Each player from the qualifying football teams played in the tournament eager to showcase their skills. Some of their peers were recognised by scouts from leading Motsepe Foundation championship teams. Relegobile Molefe of Ama2K FC received an assessment opportunity with Upington FC, while Bongani Skosana from Dlalisa FC, has been invited for an assessment by Cedric FC. These stories highlight the long-term investment opportunities that kasi tournaments such as the Mamelodi Youth Games alongside fibertime creates when talented young footballers are given a bigger stage.
