South African Football Association (SAFA) President Dr Danny Jordaan has arrived in Kenya ahead of the Confederation of African Football (CAF) meeting on Monday.
CAF will hold its Executive Committee meeting in Nairobi, Kenya, on Monday, 16 September 2024 and it will be chaired by CAF President Dr Patrice Motsepe.
Part of the agenda includes a decision on the host of the 2025 Women’s Africa Cup of Nations. SAFA have submitted a bid to host the event that would afford WAFCON champions Banyana Banyana an opportunity to defend their crown on home soil.
“It has been a good week, Bafana Bafana beat South Sudan 3-2 in an AFCON qualifier on Tuesday, now we turn out attention to Banyana Banyana,” the SAFA President said.
