AMAKHOSI PRIMED FOR NEW SEASON

Kaizer Chiefs will begin their 55th South African domestic top flight season – their 29th of the Premier Soccer League era, since its inception in 1996-97 – with an away game against Marumo Gallants in Bloemfontein on Saturday, 14 September 2024.

Following a disappointing 2023/24 campaign, much has changed at Naturena, as management acted decisively to rectify the situation. With a raft of new faces arriving, and some familiar ones departing, hopes are high among the Amakhosi Faithful that newly-appointed head coach Nasreddine Nabi can shape the players into a formidable, cohesive unit that can challenge for top honours in the coming season.

Speaking at the launch of the 2024/25 Betway Premiership, the 59-year-old Tunisian tactician said, “I don’t have any magic potion to take Kaizer Chiefs to where they used to be, but I am here to do my very best to get the Club back to where it belongs, at the top. My mission is to bring the glory days back to Kaizer Chiefs I cannot make promises on results but I can promise that I will all do everything I possibly can to do well this season.”
