OPPOxPIRATES Goal of the Month Sept/Oct Nominees

Following yet another month of exciting action, the OPPOxPIRATES Goal of the Month competition returns and one lucky Bucs supporter could walk away with a stunning OPPO Band 2 just by voting for their favourite goal scored across September and October.

Five goals scored by Orlando Pirates stars have been nominated in this month’s edition of the competition, with the scorer of the winning goal also set to take home the same prize.

The dazzling strikes nominated for the title of OPPOxPIRATES Goal of the Month include the two goals scored in the MTN8 semifinal away leg against Stellenbosch, where Zakhele Lepasa and Deon Hotto each found the net to hand the Buccaneers the advantage in the crucial tie.

Also nominated is Patrick Maswanganyi, who after providing both assists in the game against Stellies, put his own name on the scoresheet in the midweek league clash against Polokwane City held at Orlando Stadium.

Two more Bucs players have also been shortlisted with both goals also coming in the same fixture against a team from the Western Cape.

Tapelo Xoki and Kermit Erasmus provided the goals as Pirates defeated Cape Town Spurs 2-0 to advance to the quarterfinals of the Carling Knockout.

One of the five Buccaneers could be a proud owner of a brand new OPPO Band 2, along with a lucky fan.

To enter the competition, all you have to do is vote for what you think is the best goal out of the five nominees on any official Orlando Pirates social media (@orlandopirates). Voting ends Friday, 10 November 2023.
