15 August: Johannesburg – Zahara is now a household name in Africa and steadily building and global audience. The multi-platinum, 17 x SAMA Award-winning artist recently took to social media to celebrate the success of her two albums, ‘Mgodi’ and ‘Nqaba Yam’ — two projects she released with Warner Music Africa (WMA), ‘Mgodi,’ released in 2017, was certified gold within 6 hours of its release in South Africa, and ‘Nqaba Yam’ (2021) boasts hits such as ‘Sinda Mphefumlo’, ‘Nqaba Yam’, and ‘Nyamezela’ among others.
To celebrate this milestone, WMA congratulated Zahara in a joint Instagram post with a caption: “We’re celebrating the astounding success of @zaharasa’s two albums, ‘Mgodi’ and ‘Nqaba Yam’, since joining the WMA family,” the label wrote on social media. “Congratulations, Zahara!”

In celebration, Zahara treated her fans to an intimate, 20-minute live performance featuring songs from ‘Mgodi.’ “In light of the success of my two latest albums, I wanted to share an exclusive performance of songs from my gold-certified album, ‘Mgodi,’ “Zahara wrote across her social media platforms. The live performance features four tracks from the Mgodi album: ‘Ndiveze,’ ‘Mgodi,’ ‘Umfazi’, and ‘Yhini’.

Zahara is currently doing shows in Canada and preparing for her one-woman show at Sun International Carnival City. Zahara: The Healing Women Concert will occur on September 23rd at Carnival City’s Big Top Arena in Johannesburg.
