As the face of My Community Connects (MCC), pop sensation Jimmy Nevis has spent the past year showing South Africans the value of connectivity. With Nevis as its ambassador, the platform has helped thousands embrace the opportunities that connectivity enables. Now, as he prepares to pass the baton, Nevis is showing just how easily connection creates magic by creating a jingle with MCC entrant and founder of Explore Soweto, Lindo Buthelezi.
Released today, the catchy tune, aptly named Elevate, was the culmination of a day spent by Nevis and Buthelezi taking in the vibrancy of South Africa’s largest township, Soweto. Recording this jingle was the first time that blogger-turned-entrepreneur Buthelezi had ever been part of making musical magic. Despite this, she took to it like a duck to water and the result can be heard on your favourite radio station, or on any of online platforms of collaborators Jimmy Nevis, Lindo Buthelezi and MCC.
