She believes in the power of evidence-based marketing principles, that enables her to partner with brands to craft high-performance strategies that will grow their business.

On a weekly basis she is helping students and unemployed youth to acquire basic skills to enter the job market such as aligning their skills with the relevant employer and helping them with job placements and networking opportunities in the workforce. This programme is also aimed at helping upcoming entrepreneurs utilise their digital space to network and connect with corporates and potential investors.

So far, she has helped over 5000 young people get jobs even without experience or any formal training, they were able to receive staff training, computer literacy skills, telephone and administration skills, customer service and other skills in order to join the workforce. But without digital inclusion it is almost impossible to reach the number of unskilled and postgraduate youth who are unemployed, have no access to funding to start businesses or any networking skills to enter the job market due to lack of resources and access to wifi or data.

Atomic Group has designed programmes in KZN that will expand across South Africa to draw young people into business opportunities and career opportunities that have longevity and can help them sustain themselves.

However, despite the progress Atomic Group is making, the youth of South Africa still face numerous obstacles, with lack of funding and unemployment being their most pressing issues. Many young people struggle to find meaningful employment opportunities or the capital to start their own businesses, hindering their ability to build sustainable livelihoods and contribute fully to the country’s economy. “It is essential that concerted efforts such as the Atomic Group programmes that we are introducing are shared across the country to address this issue and create digital inclusion” says Nompulelelo Nyawo.

Seeing the growing unemployment rate Nyawo’s mission is to strategically invest unparallel efforts and resources towards diversified business growth. Her Vision is to create sustainable human-centric careers that enable people to help others.

One of their objectives is to address youth unemployment and digital inclusion. Due to the high rate of excluded youth, graduates and school leavers that are still unable to find employment.
