Multi-talented Aya Mpama makes a come back to the music industry with a five songs EP titled Ayanda Amandla Ami, The EP promises nothing short of Aya’s soulistic sounds.
With just over 10 years since her last single release, this EP is consistent to who and what Aya stands for as a woman in the entertainment industry. Aya has worked with the likes of esteemed producer Kabomo Vilakazi, to bring you this EP and says the EP is the first installation of three EP’s that will culminate in an album, which means there is more new music by her to look out for.
“It is a great of great honor to share my music once again with those who love it. Gratitude goes out to SAMPRA for funding this project, allowing me the opportunity to reignite the love between me and the music lovers around the world.” Said Aya.
On the EP is a song titled Lutho, which Aya believes tells a story of her strength and resilience as a woman. This, as a continuity on the kind of music she writes, that speaks of women power and self-love. “I look forward to performing this song, sharing my calling and purpose, that is music,” she added!
