Ke Mohau is an anthem of gratitude, Ke Mohau which means it is by grace in Sesotho, is intended to be a part of a believer’s moments of celebration and gratitude to their Maker for His grace and goodness in their lives.

The song was written post COVID-19 in a time of reflection, realising the hand of God upon his life; the artist reckoned it fitting to express gratitude for the grace of God that has kept him and his loved ones throughout troubling times he says; “the writing of this song was really inspired by 1 verse that really encapsulates the message of the song, it says, ‘Rejoice always, pray without ceasing, give thanks in all circumstances; for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus for you.’”

Sibusiso Phoswa, known by his stage name, Sbu Phoswa – The Psalmist is a born again believer in Christ, he is a husband, a father and a spirit-filled worshipper. The Psalmist was born and bred in the Kwakwatsi, Koppies township in the Free State. According to The Psalmist, his musical journey began at the age of 10 when he started singing and learning the keyboard, in Sunday school.

For Sbu, the musical influence is genetic; it is from his late father who also was a servant of Christ, ministering the Word of the Lord. However, his love for worship was not only ignited by nature but also by nurture, The Palmist was raised by a family of believers in Christ who then ultimately had his heart inclined to worship music and the Word of God. The Psalmist’s songwriting and singing skills were bettered and sharpened in Church.

Exploring the gap in the gospel music industry of reshuffled songs and hymns, Sbu Phoswa decided to invest on a keyboard and started writing songs and re-arranging some of the well-known hymns. The dynamic singer and songwriter is dedicated to preach the gospel of Christ in song and in word, he travels around South Africa on his musical ministry.
